FORMAT:

This is a two-day, 36-hole, two-tournaments-in-one event using 100% of Home Course Handicap, which is set as of the date of tournament setup. Saturday is a 4 Man Team Variable Best Ball Tournament. Sunday is Flighted Individual Net Stroke Play; Saturday’s individual scores count towards each player’s two-day total.

SCORING:

Saturday – Non-Flighted Team Net Stroke Play Variable Best Ball Tournament. Teams consist of 4 players, “A”, “B”, “C”, and “D”.  If a team is missing a player, the Tournament Committee will substitute scores for the missing player by using another player in the competition that has the next closest Handicap Index. Tees will be assigned by the Committee based on Flights and individual players handicaps. Team Net Stroke Play Variable Best Ball: one (1) Net Best Ball on Par 5 holes; two (2) Net Best Ball scores on Par 4 holes; three (3) Net Best Ball scores on Par 3 holes. Slow Play will result in a 2-stroke team penalty which will not carry over to Sunday.

Sunday – Individual Net Stroke Play, added to Saturday’s individual scores.

Slow Play will result in a 2-stroke individual penalty. All players must hole out, both days.

TIES:

In the event of a tie for first place on Saturday, Co-Champions will be declared. All ties will result in the place monies being split evenly. There will not be a playoff for Saturday’s Team event. Sunday, a Sudden Death playoff decides all ties for first place. Playoff holes are determined by the Tournament Committee based on course availability. Players are responsible for knowing the likelihood of a playoff; failure to be present for the playoff results in relinquishing first place for second place. All other ties are co-winners and the place money is evenly split.

All scores are posted by the Committee for USGA Handicap purposes, with applicable Adjusted Gross Score applied.

VOLUNTARY GAMES:

Saturday only – Gross Over-the-Field Team Skins. Entry will be $5.00 per player. (Individuals who opt out of team skins will not receive a share of any skins won by their team.)

Sunday only – Individual Flighted Net Skins. Entry will be $5.00.

Sunday only – Individual Gross Over-the-Field Skins. Entry will be $5.00.

If there are “No Skins Out”, each competition reverts to a Best Skins format.

Entry fees for these games are voluntary, and may only be paid in cash, at the check-in table, the first day of the tournament. The check-in table will close 30 minutes before the club’s final tee time; late arrivals will not be able to enter any of the voluntary games. (Entry fees for BOTH days are collected on Saturday.)
