Entry Deadline: Sunday, September 21, 2025. (Absolutely no entries will be accepted after the PayPal window is closed. Late requests will be added to a wait list, and contacted if there is an opening within your flight.)
The top sixteen members (and ties) in the Season Long Player of the Year competition will be invited to participate in this Championship. In the event that one or more of the invitees are unable or unwilling to participate, members 17-20 may be invited to fill those spots.

FORMAT:
This is a two-day, 36-hole Flighted Net Stroke Play Tournament using 100% of Home Course Handicap. The lowest Handicap Index during the 2025 Colorado Golf season (March 15th through the date of setup) will be used.
Saturday’s pairings will attempt to match similar handicaps and tees; Sunday’s pairings are based on tournament standings as they relate to the Player of the Year Standings after Saturday’s round, with the leaders going last within the flight.

SCORING:
Each player must hole out on each hole and turn in a signed scorecard.

TIES:
In the event of a tie for first place, Co-Champions will be declared. All ties will result in the place money being split evenly.
A Sudden Death playoff will be used, if necessary, to decide the Player of the Year. Playoff holes are determined by the Tournament Committee based on course availability. Players are responsible for knowing the likelihood of a playoff; failure to be present for the playoff will result in forfeiting their opportunity to be named Player of the Year.
All scores are posted by the Committee for USGA Handicap purposes, with applicable Adjusted Gross Score applied.

VOLUNTARY GAMES:
Flighted Net Skins. Entry will be $10.00.
Gross Over-the-Field Skins.* Entry will be $10.00.
If there is “No Skins Out” on Saturday, the skins money carries over to Sunday. In the event of “No Skins Out” on Sunday, the competition reverts to a Best Skins format on Sunday’s results only. Entry fees for these games are voluntary, and may only be paid in cash, at the check-in table, the first day of the tournament. The check-in table will close 30 minutes before the club’s final tee time; late arrivals will not be able to enter
any of the voluntary games.

If the event is canceled due to weather or the course is unplayable, the final standings for Player of the Year will be based on accumulated points at the beginning of the event.

TOURNAMENT PAYOUTS:
Closest to the Flagstick each day*: Holes #4, #8, #13 and #17 ($50 “Gift Card voucher in Member Sports Account”.)
* - Gross Skins and Closest to the Flagstick are combined with the Men’s Club Open tournament.
Individual payout: “Money on the Books”, using Tournament Payout Schedule A.
